Electrolysis is the method of choice for hair removal by surgeons in preparation for vaginoplasties, phalloplasties, and other confirming surgeries. We will utilize your surgeon's diagram of the areas which need electrolysis. Electrolysis should be started well in advance of a surgery date.

At Pathway Electrolysis we offer receipts called a "Super-bill" which can be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. We are not currently billing insurance plans directly.

Please contact your insurance plan in advance to see what areas they will cover as "medically necessary". In the past we have seen facial electrolysis, surgical preparation, and even areas like the chest, back, toes, and underarms covered by some plans.
